The inaugural Litweeter Festival, an interactive compendium of word play, twittery challenges and literary gossip is in full swing. Each day of the London Literature Festival (1 – 18 July) sees a new online event, from creative challenges and comment to scavenger hunts for free festival tickets.

Co-curated by Nikesh Shukla and Southbank Centre, there will be two tweet ups during the festival, one on Wednesday 7th July and Sunday 18th July.

Authors participating in events at the festival, including Slavoj Zizek and Ben Goldacre, will be taking over the @litweeter account for conversation and debate. Twitterers can also win great prizes by contributing their own creative twitterings.
