TONY BENN & DAVID DAVIS ON DEMOCRACY

Monday, 7 July, 7.30pm

Two giants of British politics debate the meaning of democracy at a time when it has never felt more urgent. Tony Benn left parliament in 2001 after 50 years to ‘devote more time to politics’ and David Davis is the Shadow Home Secretary. Their conflicting views on the meaning of democracy promise an evening of rigorous argument, in which the audience are encouraged to participate.
