Rebecca Miller reads from The Private Lives of Pippa Lee, one of the literary success stories of 2008. When Pippa Lee takes stock of her life at 50, her younger, wilder self begins to haunt her. The novel features an unforgettable heroine and an acutely intelligent portrait of the many lives behind a single name. Miller is also an acclaimed director, whose adaption of her debut collection, Personal Velocity, won the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance.
She discusses her work with Hal Wake, Artistic Director of the Vancouver International Writers Festival.
